Moving toward Pentecost
After celebrating Easter on April 1, we have focused on various themes related to the Resurrection. This included our observance of Earth Day on April 22, as the renewing power of Nature of a reflection of God's gift of new life.
During May we will observe Mothers' Day on May 13 and Pentecost on May 20. This latter holy day commemorates the apostles' experience of the Holy Spirit as described in the Book of Acts, chapter 2.
Other activities are on-going. At the church, please consider taking part in out regular weekday activities:

The Wheat Ridge Congregational Church of the United Church of Christ is a loving fellowship committed to following the Word of God through the teachings of Jesus Christ.
The United Church of Christ has a somewhat liberal or open-minded reputation. The United Church of Christ was formed in 1957 by a merger of the Congregational Christian and the Evangelical and Reformed ("E & R") denominations.
Wheat Ridge Congregational Church is a relatively small congregation. However, what we may lack in membership size we more than make up for in enthusiasm, generosity, and Christian love.
